What is Haute Domaine?

Haute Domaine is a prestige Experience brand, which offers wine lovers a curated and qualitative, Vine to Table winery experiences.

Our winemakers follow a very high quality approach to viticulture, working to preserve the typicality of their terroir, and express the characteristics of their wines.

Each of our outstanding winemakers are committed to share their passion through interactive visits and experiences in English that go beyond standard visits.

Where we Operate

Our core offering for the past 20 years has been in Champagne and Paris. We have recently extended ours tours and experiences south to Burgundy, Rhone Valley and Provence. We head east to Alsace and west to the Loire.

Hop on a plane to Frankfurt, Barcelona, Venice, London, Athens, and San Francisco and we'll arrange visits in Kent, Cava, Prosecco, Mosel, Attica and Sonoma and discover and compare other sparkling wines.

We'll pick you up in the local wine region or the closest major city or airport.

Who is it For?

Haute Domaine visits are for those serching for a more authentic, personalised, and immersive experiences on either a single or multiple day and multi regional visit.

During an Haute Domaine experience you will be able to taste the result of each wine maker's passion, and dedication to reflect the best of the terroir in their wines. Discover first hand how each family honors the previous generation of winemaker traditions, and how they strive to constantly improve the quality.

You'll enjoy the unique characteristics of each region during single plot wine comparison cuvee tastings while you learn how the terroir impacts the style, acidity, and taste.

Tailor made for you

Our tailor made tours and experiences, take into account your taste profile, travel style, and budget. Based on these criteria we will organize vineyard experiences to make the most out of your time because every minute counts!

Wine enthusiasts love to discover new winemakers who produce high quality wines, and which represent outstanding value. Any one of these experiences will give you the opportunity to engage with a local family.

Multi Comparison Tastings

Comparison tastings are the cornerstone of each visit and there are many ways to compare such as grapes, dosage, terroir, vintage, across cuvees, still wines, and between Champagne and winemakers.

Walk in the Vines

Some of our partners will welcome guests in the vines, where they will present the history and philosophy of their estate and when possible sample one of their cuvees in the vines the grapes were grown.

Vineyard Lunch & Picnics

Pairing individual dishes with different champagnes & wines enhances the flavor of both and will give you more confidence to be adventurous back home and at restaurants

As you eat and drink during a vineyard lunch, consider the body or richness of both the food and champagne, with neither overwhelming the other and the dominant character in the dish, which is usually the sauce, seasonings or cooking method, rather than the main ingredient.

Vineyard Selection

Haute Domaine is a collaborative venture that brings like minded winemakers in each region together to share their passion through qualitative in-depth Vine to Wine & Wine to Table experiences.

Best of Class

In each of the wine regions we operate, we focus on finding not only the best winemakers but the vineyards in the best terroirs. Most regions like Champagne and Burgundy, the finest terroirs are classified Grand and Premier Cru. Other regions use other classifications, which identify those areas that the local wine growers agree produce the best quality grapes.

Artisanal Approach

Top artisan growers tend to follow organic and sustainable practices to obtain the best of both chemical free wines and to potentially protect losing an entire harvest.  A number of them have achieved great notoriety among top reviewers, connoisseurs, and Michelin chefs.

Single Varietals

We emphasisze visits to artisan domaines where connoisseurs and epicureans can experience the taste of exceptional terroir-driven cuvées of exceptional character. Most vineyards will create wines from blends as well.

In each wine region's page you will find a 2, 3, 5 and 10 day sample itinerary in the multi day tab, 92 ideas to start a conversation.

Even though our main focus is sparkling wines and champagne, we love to include regions in proximity because its interesting gastronomically, geographically, and culturally. For example, after visiting Prosecco producers for a day, clients have the option to visit a Grappa distillery in Bassano, or a Soave vineyard if we head to Verona or Valpolicella wineries if we include a visit to Vicenza. How can one not go to Vienza!

Below are just a few samples of some of my favorite multi region combinations.
