Armand de Brignac Champagne Tours
Short History
Created by the Cattier family (growers since 1763) and unveiled in 2006, Armand de Brignac—nicknamed “Ace of Spades” for its pewter label—was conceived as an ultra prestige range. In 2014 Shawn “JAY Z” Carter acquired the brand, and in 2021 LVMH’s Moët Hennessy purchased a 50% stake. Production remains at the Cattier estate in Rilly la Montagne.
What Makes Armand de Brignac Unique
Iconic metallic bottles – Hand applied pewter labels and lacquered finishes.
Multi-vintage blending – Each cuvée typically combines three harvest years for depth and consistency.
Family craftsmanship + global luxury backing – Made by Cattier’s cellar team, supported by JAY Z’s ownership and LVMH distribution.
Signature Style
Opulent, fruit driven Champagnes with creamy texture, long lees aging, and a dosage calibrated for richness and polish.
