Leclerc Briant Epernay
Short History
Established in Cumieres in 1872 by Lucien Leclerc, the house relocated to Epernay in 1955 under Bertrand Leclerc and Jacqueline Briant, becoming a negociant. A pioneer in organic farming since the 1960s and an early adopter of biodynamics in the ’70s. Purchased in 2012 by Americans Mark Nunelly and Denise Dupre along with Frederic Zeimett, the house has since embraced low-dosage, vegan wines.
